How do you get on when you want to make 3 pizzas at once and only have 1 stone?  Doesn't the everyday cookbook dough make 3 pizza bases? I know it says divide into 4 balls but apparently these are too thin and most people only make 3. Does a stone make a whole heap of difference to the end product?

Thanks MrSpock, here's my list to start with.

Fillet mignon with mustard
Chicken whites (?) in tomato sauce with mushrooms.
Quail (I'd use chicken) with grapes and sweet wine
Chicken stew
Chicken with peppers, tomato and white wine
Rolls of chicken whites in ham dress (?) and sauce chasseir
And from the vegie section - zucchini gratin provencal.

Home cook, there are a few ice cream recipes in the dessert section of this forum.  Maybe you could give those a try.  Bron from Spain and Cookie1 from Western Australia seem to do different icecreams a lot so they could give you more advice than I can.

Slowly getting over the flu but needed some more ingredients for another batch of this drink.  Mum did the shopping for me and DH went around to her place on his gopher to bring the items home.  Made in in the TMX ILB and it worked perfectly, put 1T honey less in it this time as that was a bit overpowering in the first lot - will add a little whiskey to tonights cup to ensure I sleep well again.  Had to cancel babysitting arrangements for tomorrow with DD for the first time in 4 years - don't want new baby to catch it and 1 more day taking it reasonably easy will just about do me I would think.

I can't help with any unfortunately but I saw some interesting meals in the mains section of the above list that would interest me.  Ours are so boring in our everyday book.

Still had some of that cheese sauce leftover from last week so decided to do the above dish again with a slight variation with the chicken.  Used the same chicken cuts (4 thin pieces) salted, topped them with some leftover capsicum & sundried tomato dip (pge 54 everyday cookbook), covered them with some thinly sliced pieces of a tasty, low-fat cheese and added them 12 minutes before the end of the cooking time of the vegies.  Yummo.  Which then made me think of being able to do a low fat version of chicken parmigana this way too in future.

Made the custard and loved it.  Just use the normal custard recipe in the everyday cookbook but cut back on the sugar as there is already some in the coffee/cocoa mix.  Suppose you could call it Mocca custard but good enough to always have a batch of this mixture on hand and still use it for the odd coffee as well.

Yes I agree, makes you wonder what was going on in that head of his at the time. It won't win him any fans.  Another bad loss for Ports, can't work them out this year at all.  Crows match was a beauty though, those young lads played really well and it is them who will take the Crows forward, not the older players. Big crowd at the match, even their numbers have dropped a lot lately so it was nice to see the stadium full.

Good one - Bron would hate to see us wasting anything ;D ;D ;D  I'm going to make custard later and try 2T in that so will let you know how it goes.  We might end up making a batch of this stuff just for other uses although I didn't mind it in all milk coffee.

A big welcome to Home Cook to our forum.  You will have ups and downs with your Thermomix but eventually it will sort itself out.  I suggest you browse the recipes on this forum as we have some beauties here.  You can even get some good ones from the ThermomixUK site too.  The basic everyday Australian cookbook that came with the TMX is something you need to have but the actual main meal recipes are not vast in quantity and sometimes leave a lot to be desired.  However, some are great too. Good luck and keep us informed as to how you are getting on with it.

Hope you can get it all to come together - I am really feeling the stress you must be under now but you know you can do it ILB.  I take my hat off to you young ones making elaborate cakes for your children, so many people just go out and buy them instead or get Grandma to do it.  The kids get such a kick out of seeing their cake come together though and it is something they will remember for a very long time and love you for it.
