I made a Weetbix Slice yesterday. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=17733.msg454206#msg454206
I left it several hours after mixing it and it was very nice.

Margaret I’m pleased that your son is home. He has a long rehabilitation ahead of him. I hope he doesn’t find it too hard.

I’ll make some ricotta gnocchi this afternoon and we’ll have it with some shredded chicken and bacon in a cream sauce.

I’ve made a Classic Loaf and have some plum jam cooking at the moment. I like Satsuma plums for jam and managed to get some from the Italian shop yesterday. I never see them in the supermarket.

Well done Judy.

I made some Passata (I went up to the Italian shop and bought cheap tomatoes), some Sicilian Pesto. I don't think I like it as much as normal Pesto. It has cherry tomatoes blitzed into it.

Oh Margaret, how worried you must be. I do hope the operation helped sort a few things out for your son. Absolutely devastating.

Another pleasant day. DH made a pea and ham soup using one of our ham bones from Christmas. I made the Chilli and Cheese bread from here and we had Apple Crumble with macadamias in it for dessert. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=14275.0

I didn’t cook today. I did make a bran loaf yesterday and it’s almost all gone. I had some toasted seeds leftover so I added those in. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2868.msg32336#msg32336

Chit Chat / Re: What book are you reading?

Chookie, I love Gary Disher books. I’m ready an Australian rural romance at the moment. The Bad Bridesmaid by Rachael Johns. She is a WA girl and I enjoy her books. When she began writing she and DD were friends, but they have drifted apart.  DD interviewed her for the release of one of her books. This book is set on Norfolk Island and I’m really enjoying it.
