Making Trudyís lemon muffins for the staff at local chemist shop. They deliver when asked or prepare scripts and I donít have to wait . They have been stressed out with all this COVID activity. It brightens their day. Little effort for me.

Gert and Judy, Iím surprised that you still have stuff to get rid of. ( envy speaking here)
I try but still not good at it. Did fill a black plastic bag when I swapped over winter clothes. Did give a bread tin to GD. :) Have stopped buying clothes . ( opportunity not available. ) have upgraded electrical stuff and discarded old stuff. Yes I need to do more. You girls are an inspiration.

Still hot and humid. Nasty weather. Thunderstorms all around but very little rain.

Enjoying the tennis. Love Ash and the Special K s. Havenít laughed so much for ages.

Cookie, sounds interesting.
Judy, like Cookie, I have has the 3 models. Each has its advantages. The 31 is a good basic work horse. The 5 made it digital. The 6 is far more complex and adds more options. I will never use the 6 to full advantage. Cookie is far more adventuresome than me in getting the best from the 6. I still like to convert recipes to TMX so use what 6 has to offer. Other advantages are slightly larger bowl and available recipes. On the whole , to me, , the recipes available are very disappointing. It is handy to have my recipes on the 6 , but not essential.
My DIL. Who is an excellent cook, is still using the 31 and loves it. Iím giving her the 5 , but after using it with me last weekend she is not desperate to get her hands on it. She is very computer savvy so would probably enjoy the 6.
I will be interested to see what Cookie thinks as we are all different in our needs.
Judy, unless you want to play around and experiment with recipes, the 31 will do what you want. You may want to consider having it serviced and even new blades.
P S, if you need to entertain yourself, buy a 6 as there are so many options you will not be bored.

K Atie, we missed the storm but did get a cool change. Opened all the windows, turned off AC.

You asked about the Dyson cool air cleaner that we bought before Xmas. It is not a refrigerated item. It is a fan cooler that removes nasties from the air. Our bedroom is very dusty. The rest of the house isnít. We do have an air filter in the bedroom but the filters are a nuisance to clean.  The Dyson filters are just replace annually with new ones. $100 .

We donít mind a hot meal during hot weather. The problem being heating up the kitchen. The SC helped this week as I cooked marinated chicken legs in it. The BBQ will be called into action today.  Adam Liew recipe for sausages cooked in a sauce on the BBQ. Will make a couple of rolls with the Yogurt bread recipe.
However donít like the hot weather.

Cookie, yum yum Lamingtons. Havenít had one for ages.
Prawns for Australia Day.  Made a nice dipping sauce. Simple. Just mixed equal amounts of TMX Mayo with my Plum Vinegar.
Made 20 jars of Plum and Cranberry Jam. The Cranberries were fresh/ frozen. Plenty to give away as gifts during the year. Several already gone.
The bucket of Plums all used now.
Will make another loaf of Yogurt bread today. ( Rals favourite at the moment). Based on JulieOís Sour Cream bread.  It stays moist for ages. I make it with Laucke Grain Mix and add lots of seeds on top.

Iím glad everyone enjoyed it.  There are very strict rules controlling Aboriginal art. Who owns the original and what can be done with it.

DD asked Artist is she could share the painting she did with the Forum . She has also kindly written a description of the painting. They are paddling across Bass Straight in February.
