I believe there is a recipe for Lemon Myrtle Hand Cream in the vegetarian book. I plan to make this next weekend but haven't got my vegetarian book with me at the moment. Does anyone have this book? If so, could you let me know what the ingredients (quantities) are so that I can make sure I have everything I need on hand for next weekend.
Many thanks.

Cuilidh, just sending you a pm :)

Thanks very much, GF. PM has arrived

Why has this recipe (among others) disappeared? I've bought the book, but my edition has none of those lovely extra recipes :(
-
Have you checked back on your first posting spersephone? I've posted a couple of recipes and made a list of those in the original book and Cornish Cream has given you a link to more of these types of 'recipes'.

You would have to ring HO or email them to ask why the recipes have disappeared.

I don't know why this recipe isn't in the latest Vegetarian Book. You could contact Thermomix Australia HO and ask them why it has been omitted.
Easy Lemon Myrtle Hand Cream
400g spring or purified water
1 tbsp vegetable glycerin ( optional)
30g emulsifying wax
25g fresh coconut flesh,
20g avocado oil
20g Shea butter
10 drops vitamin E ( optional)
3 tsp essential oil of your choice.
Method.
Place water, glycerin and wax into the TM bowl and mix 30sec/speed 2
Pour out 1/3 of the liquid and reserve.
Heat the remaining liquid for 2mins/60c/speed2 Pour into Thermosaver and keep warm.
Place coconut, avocado oil and Shea butter into TM bowl and heat 2mins/60c/ speed 2
Mix ingredients on speed 6-7 whilst slowly pouring warm liquid from the Thermosaver through the top of the TM lid with MC in place.
Blend for 1 min/ speed 6-7. during the last few seconds pour in the reserved 1/3 of liquid and blend for another 30sec/ speed 7
Add essential oils of your choice now and incorporate for a few seconds on speed 5
The cream is liquid so pour into jars now as it us easier to handle. As it cools it will solidify.

Thank you both! I'm still finding my way round this forum, I thought it might send notifications. Not to worry, I'll get there in the end.
Making yoghurt overnight, but tomorrow I might see how I go, thanks to your help!

Let us know how the yoghurt goes.

It was good. I also made butter today, tried the spreadable one but only put in about 20g of olive oil, and it's a bit much. I think I'll just not bother next time. I've made herb and garlic butter a few times and it was amazing.

Just a follow up to this - I was able to find the right version of the book on one of the Facebook Thermomix Buy Swap Sell sites, and it's coming to me soon! Very excited to have it in my hands. Thank you to Judy who sent me some of the recipes previously.

No worries Sarah, only too happy to help out.
