Today I made more green tomato pickles, Nay-Nays thermomix scones, Custard tarts, Bimby chocolate cake and Burnt butter biscuits with TM made raspberry jam in the centre. I had a complete successful day, no failures.

Today for lunch I had to find something to do with some Tommy Ruffs someone had given me.  Ended up just winging it. Dropped a clove of garklic, a few cubes of red capsicum, 1/4 tsp ginger from a jar and a very small piece of chilli onto running blades at speed 8.  Scraped down the sides, added a knob of butter and cooked for 3mins/100o/speed 1. Spread this over each fillet, added 1 litre of boiling water to the bowl, put the fish in the varoma bowl and tray as well and steamed them for 8 mins/varoma temp/speed 3.   Perfect  :o :o DH loved them.

Hash browns were from the RoboGourmet ap some members have been downloading for their iPads and phones.
No mention of how much butter to cook the onions in so I only added 20g. The recipe isn't all that clearly written but you grate the onion then remove it from the bowl, add potato pieces and chop them.  Remove the mixture, add the butter and heat it, cook the onions 3 mins/100o then add the potatoes back into the bowl and cook them both together for another 3 mins. Cool the mixture (I did it on a tray so it would happen quicker) and I made 10 patties.  I've kept back 4 uncooked patties to see if they will be OK for tomorrow - as they are almost cooked already I don't see a problem .  The potato mixture did cook onto the base of the bowl so perhaps speed 2 would be better and maybe more butter?  We enjoyed them though.

Those look yummy TM_Ted!

I've got the thermie going doing the sauce from Riv Mum's cannelloni http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1190.0 and some steamed veg.  Didn't have any spinach so have done a modified version of the filling from the pumpkin lasagne I posted a couple of weeks ago (with ricotta) rolled up in fresh lasagne sheets.  DD1 loves cannelloni so such a great way to get extra veg into her.

JudyDawn, that fish sounds yum!  Will have to try that-have some frozen salmon fillets that are begging for something to spice them up!

Got home from work @ 5 and had dinner on the table by 6.  Everyone ate every last crumb!  Chicken sausage rolls, mashed potato & steamed vegies.  Plus I'm using an almost dead pumpkin to make soup as I type!

I LOVE my TMX!!!   ;D
