Sorry Nikkit, not us. We were in Forrestfield. I'll have to let you know if we go up your way.
We had our Christmas lunch today. DH who takes his precious iPad everywhere with him, managed to drop it on some gravel. It dented the corner and has smashed the screen. He is convinced that it will be fine but I am going to take it to the Apple shop on Wednesday to see what they say.

Wonder that is so nice. You and your DH must have felt very pleased to be invited to go out with the young ones.

Will do. DD and I have decided we will buy him a very strong cover for Christmas. He really enjoys having the iPad to do things on and take photos.

Oh dear Cookie. Not good.

Coffee with friends and some Christmas shopping today. I also did something that I know I'm going to regret  :-))
I joined T2's Tea Society. There's now a store just a few kilometers away. Oh no!

Cookie, we buy Gumdrop cases off Amazon ......... they're brilliant ! The kids have dropped them (quite a few times) from bench height onto tiles and they never break. They have a built in screen protector. They usually cost us about $50 but cheaper than the cost of one screen.

Cookie I cracked my mini screen.

First back everything up to Icloud and your computer. Then take it to the official  Apple Store or a Next Byte. I took mine to Next Byte as we have no Apple store here.

They replace the whole thing. It will cost you probably about a  third or less of a new one.  No matter how good the case is it can happen. Most time I would say accidents happen when you are using it  not when it is closed and more or less protected.

If there is sensitive info on the iPad then delete it after you back it up. I don't think it is a problem but not sure.  They refurbish these iPads and on sell them. They are completely wiped before hand but......

I put my experience  here.  http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=11057.msg301420#msg301420

It is no big deal cookie. These things happen.

Now you will get the good invites to events. Last one I went to I got a very generous goodie bag and then I got a voucher. But it is a pretty dangerous place. I love my tins with the magnets but did I need 18.........hell yes!

LOL Gretchen

Unpacking some more kitchen, at same time made three batches of fudge for Xmas presents.
Cooked Sunday lunch, proof read reports for DH. Walked the dog, looked at the sheep.
Watched X factor.

Glad you had time to relax in front of the TV DJ.

Gert, you must have the best collection of T2 - how long is the use by date on those boxes.  Best drink up and use your stocks before it runs out.  The shop will still be there when you are ready to buy again, then again maybe it will go broke without your support  ;D

Nice to see you posting again DJ and good that you have a working kitchen again.

Gert, that is a lovely selection of T2 you have there. :)

Yesterday we went to our GS 3rd bithday party.  Had a nice time but was so glad to come home and leave the noise behind.

Went down to the local Bunnings this morning to buy some gardening tools to replace the ones borrowed and lost by DS.  DH is now outside pottering about in the drizzling rain trying out them out.  I say leave him to it he seems to be happy enough. :) :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
