By 10am I had made Pumpkin and Leek soup,(had some for lunch with sour cream and Sweet chilli sauce swirled through). Beef and veggie casserole in SC, steamed pots and pumpkin in TMX to add to leftover veggies to make bubble and squeak, bread and butter pud from stale Hot X Buns and used KFC dry mix rubbed into skin of Chicken Thighs. Will bake these for Dinner to have with Bubble and Squeak and beans from garden.

Vegetable shopping plus a few groceries this afternoon.

Food shopping this morning. The check out lady was one from the 'floor' that I often chat too. She said she hated being on the checkout. Then she couldn't find the button for zucchini so threw them in the bag in anger!  I didn't mind.

You've had a productive day in the kitchen Chookie.
Lucky you Cookie.  :D

Work today, a fairly cruisey shift. I can't get into cooking at the moment (actually for months now) nothing seems to turn out very well.  :(

DD and I went to watch Kathryn Sabbath do a cake this morning. It was a watching only demonstration. She is only 29 and seems to have worked hard to get where she is. She is very nice. She did the chocolate shards for this cheesecake, the meringue buttercream and other bits and pieces. She makes tall cakes and loves sprinkles. It was a very entertaining 2 1/2 hours.

Did you have a taste of anything she made cookie?  From all the classes which did you prefer, hands on or just watching?
