Good morning everyone.  A frost again this morning.   Expecting visitors today and nothing in the cupboard, might make a tea cake.

Gosh Chookie your power is expensive- I will stop complaining. It's no wonder people have trouble paying their accounts.
Marina these companies seem to love messing around.

Great improving news for you and Ral, Chookie.

We have had a lot of rain again, its wonderful. Some thunder and hail with this last lot. I think we have reached our June rainfall average, but are still a bit behind on the annual average.

I always seem to be grumbling and mumbling on this forum, but in fact, there are so many good things to talk about ... our renovation is going brilliantly and we will be in in about 4 months, the weather is lovely just now, not like winter at all, I have lots of wonderful forum friends to grouse to when I want to have a grouse ... life is great!!

Marina when we changed Electricity company they kept sending me different bills.  The one I thought was correct I paid by direct debit.  I made a mistake and paid only 72 cents. When I finally  got someone on the phone they were very good about it.  Yes our Electricity bill is large but the room we spend most time in is huge.   Also I bake a lot.  I don’t use the tumble dryer, But have 2 freezers and 2 fridges.
I am glad that your Reno  coming along well.
I agree, life is good.  We have great friends and family and everything else is being dealt with.

Agree with all the comments about the Forum. No nasty stuff here.
It has been raining all night. Lovely. Not as cold as it has been.
I think I need a couple more addresses for the cup cake patty pans.
CC, what are the Aussie chocolates you like? I could pop some in.

That’s very kind of you to offer to send me Aussie Chocolates Chookie but that would be so expensive.

It’s been so hot here today ( well hot for the UK) 🥵  It’s cooling down tomorrow.

CC, stop being polite.  I think it is Kit Kat but not sure.  ;D
It is cold. Yesterday it rained heavily all day.  Ral did the ironing and I read a complete book.
More rain today. We are not complaining.
