Why hello!
« on: February 12, 2013, 11:22:13 am »
Hi everyone, my name is Monica, I am a stay at home mum of four.  DD is 5 and has just started full time school, DS is 3 and my boy girl twins just turned one  ;D. Life is loud crazy and lots of fun (most of the time!) at our place.

I have had my tmx for a couple of years now I think?  It's hard to remember life pre TMX really .  I use it almost every day, but I have never really had good results cooking meat in the tmx so I will be looking for some pointers there.  But I love it for everything else. It was definitely great for quick meals when the babies were smaller, I could put dinner on then sit down while it cooked and feed the babies, then fed the rest of us!

Hi Monicat, welcome to the forum after all this time.  You do sound as if you have your hands full with the children but the Thermomix must have been a blessing for feeding the little ones.  Check out our main meal recipes and try something that has a lot of reviews - these reviews and subsequent tweaks are very useful for those not keen on using their machine for everything.

You would definitely never describe our house as boring, that's for sure. Lol

Welcome Monicat.  You sure are one busy person.  Some of the all in one meals may be of interest,  also the corned beef in the Varoma.  And there is always Spaghetti. Bol.

Welcome to the forum Monica, I wish I had had a TMX when mine lot were young what a blessing that would have been, sadly they probably weren't invented way back then, have you tried steaming a roast of beef in the varoma and making a yummy  gravy in the bowl, I was really surprised at that it was so moist.

Welcome to the forum Monica. You certainly sound busy. What sort of food do the children like to eat? Some of the chicken recipes on here are extremely nice.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I cook a lot of chicken dishes in the TM not overly fussed on meat meals cooked in the TM.
