l made the choc chips cookies from the EDC and they did not spread
did l do something wrong as the photo show biscuits that spread
they were quite puffy looking and soft inside even when cooled down
l cooked them for 12 mins

I've not tried that particular recipe, preferring my own, but the EDC is notoriously unreliable. :(

There is a review of these you can read here. (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3391.0)

Nazar, go to the cake thread (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=36.0) and type choc chip cookies into the search box. You will find quite a few variations on this theme.

I must admit that I didn't like the EDC Choc chip cookies, I posted my own version Here (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=5405.0) that I find very reliable.

Oh yes please nazar. That would be wonderful. ;D

My son made these last week, I found they stayed very soft, crumbled VERY easily, and just weren't that yum :( We will go back to my old pre-thermie recipe, and try to convert it I think :-))

pm me your address
-
thats so nice of you nazar sending dede the c/book
-
I'm of the few that like this recipe and use it often - kids even make it. But I must say when I do make it I always add flour or moisture (different somedays) to get bickie texture I like. ;)

hi dede
l posted of the cookbook today for you
l hope you enjoy it
-
I must say I broke my neck to get EDC but compared to the quality of the books produced here in Germany it is a little disappointing. For the price I paid it is a less than professional publication. However, I am delighted to have it because it is referred to so often on here both positively and negatively

in australia it comes free when you buy your thermomix its a package deal
does it not come when you buy your machine outside australia
l just assume it would come with a cookbook
-
We have a wonderful book, hardcover and nicely produced called Jeden Tag Genießen and it is just wonderful. That comes free with our machines and there are many others too that they don't make you have demos for, you can't buy any book at any time thank goodness.

Do you mean you can buy any book at any time Lee - that would be nice :-))

hi dede

Thanks so much, Looking forward to it ;D

Yes, they are all online. Some are reduced from time to time at the time of various demos but we can have anything we want when we want it. Just go online and buy buy buy! Ed only lets me buy one per week. Except for that extra one I bought to celebrate Thermie feeling 100% again. It wasn't for me, it was for him!
