Lots of firewood there Denise, are you having a wood burner anywhere in the house?

I met my SIL for a lovely lunch today.

Very warm day , while travelling home in car ran over my first snake for the season! Not far from home . DM had the worst weekend but seems to have turned the corner. Home to water the chooks and Pepper . Pepper had drunk all her water so refilled her drinking bowl , so cute just loved drinking the pouring water . Huge few days ahead .

7 am out walking the dogs. Taking Mum for another x-ray today, her shoulder doesn’t seem to be improving.

That’s not good Judy.
DH has gone down to the car club this morning. He and another man are steaming some wood and then bending it. I’ve fooled around, chatted to the postie, washed the floor and done the washing. All the while deciding if I should just sit down and finish my book.

KAtie I hope your Mum continues to make good progress.

It was a difficult exercise cookie but we did it and the result was that she can start physio on Monday.  She won’t like it but if she wants to use that arm again she will have to. I spent 5 hours with her today, she loves it of course!

I'm sure the physio will be gentle with her.

Yesterday all Dr visits productive. Rals platelets have improved and now has Specialist appointments every 2 months instead of monthly.  My blood pressure has improved, so good. And my IBS has stabilised for the moment. Who is counting the days between attacks? Out for lunch today.  This will be a challenge that I am not looking forward to.
Judy, that must be very difficult for your Mum at her age. You are a champion with the visits.
KAtie, your Mum has had a pretty rough time.  Hope she can stay positive now the chemo and radiation have finished.

You and Ral did very well yesterday Chookie, do enjoy your lunch though.
I hope the future is bright for your Mum Katie, we are both lucky to still have our Mums even if, at times I feel like the Mother not the daughter LOL.
Have a great weekend everyone.

I remember my GP telling me that the times comes when, as daughters we need to become the Mother of the Mum.

Chookie I hope lunch went well and it great news for both you and Ral.

Great news that Rals platelets were up and your checkups went well Chookie.
Good luck with your Mum’s physio appointment Judy.

Denise that would be so sad to watch. Is it all coming down? Have you found any bats?

Yes Cookie the whole house is coming down. No bats, so good news on that front.

I’ve walked Chance twice today in the rain. Also catching up with the laundry.

CC, we think of you every day.  It is sad seeing the old house go but will be exciting when the new one starts to be constructed.  When they built our new house at Cherokee we were staying in a caravan on site.  When the frame was up and the roof on, we had a picnic sitting on wooden crates on the concrete floor. Glad no one could see us.

So happy to hear of your and Ral's great test results, Chookie, I am sure that was a huge relief to you both.
