I knew someone would pull you up on the "old" comment Hally ;D

Amy we are here to help you...

I know :D
You're all being so great, and I never thought I was worth the effort of doing anything about it, but now I feel like I can go in there and stand up to her if she says anything. Thank you all so much :-* :-* :-*
I can't wait for the weekend when I can meet so many of you :D :D

Speaking of the weekend, I'm up to page 33 of this thread. Just over halfway ;)

So you are definitely coming then Amy?  What does your Mum and step-Dad think of it?

Yeah............it's best to check with the 'oldies' and get their permission. That's what DD was always told.  :D :D :D

Yes ladies, the 'oldies' are fine with it  ;) I'm definitely coming! :D
I'm just waiting to hear back from MEP because I need to pay her for the spot. I sent her a PM but she hasn't replied yet.

Has CP been sending PM's with all the information, or do I need to weedle it out of all the posts on this thread? ???

 :D :D :D :D :D

Amy this is a basic review of the weekend.  (lucky I went to get it my varoma bread had nearly escaped)
Friday 24th: Lunch at restaurant (this is still in the arranging stage)
2pm drop into a couple of places on the way to Gracetown, eg chocolate factory= Gabriels.
7pm drinks and a BBQ at one place (this may be pizza I think)
Saturday 25th
11am Bus pick up from one house for full day tour including lunch at a vineyard,
5-6pm drop of at house
7pm drinks and BBQ at one place.
Sunday 26th
Late departure given . Possibly meeting somewhere for final goodbyes.

Are you driving yourself to Gracetown?

Sounds like its going to be a great weekend! Thanks for the little overview cookie :D

I've been in contact with MJ and we're trying to organise for me to meet her in Kojonup and ride with her from there.

Is there going to be someone in charge of taking photos that could be sent to everyone after the weekend?

I have lots more questions but I settled on just that one for now :-))

cookie, are some of us still going to the Margaret River Markets on the Sat morning?

I'm sure there'll be plenty of cameras around, Amy. I always have my iPhone!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I don't really know MJ. I thought if we are to be back by 11 it may be a bit of a rush. I'm hoping that I can take my passengers to Margaret River and then the cheese factory Sunday morning. Or possibly even Friday afternoon after lunch. Will play it by ear.

Possibly mix and match passengers with drivers on Sun morning so like minded go with like minded and destinations  to save  drivers going all over the place

My plane  does not leave until midnight so I can fit in with any one and be dumped  any place any time. I is a big girl.

Plane times certainly are a consideration. I was hoping to return to Perth via the south west highway (going down on the Forrest highway) to show my passengers a different view.

Don't worry folks I am on a whirlwind visit of Melbourne and will be back sitting at my desk where I have all my information on Monday morning. Have made a tentative booking for the restaurant on Friday lunch, and also rung up a little "must see" to tell them that we will be landing on their doorstep and will speak more with these people next week. I've told them 25-30 people will be coming so can anyone PM me asap if they will NOT be coming to the restaurant? I went to the markets about a month ago and they were very muddy and uninspiring, but don't let that hold you back from having a looksee yourself and having a look at the township of Margaret River but the bus will be in Gracetown at 11am sharp to pick up. The cheese factory will be covered in the Saturday winery bus tour plus some other great spots.

I don't mind where I go as long as I'm in good company and don't get left behind ;D ;D ;D

CP, is there anything in particular (apart from clothes and toiletries) that we need to bring? I read something about goodies bags. I feel like I'm playing catch-up with everyone!
