Mandi, a change is always nice I'm not obsessed with my hair like some teenagers are, so I like a low-maintenance cut, which usually means shortish. In saying that though, I haven't done much with my hair since I shaved it off in 2010, so its getting a bit longer than I'm used to

I chopped mine off 4 weeks ago, it took a while to get used too, but I love it. It is so easy, blast the hairdryer 2 mins the use product, done, always looks good

Its great isn't it Hally? I didn't even have to worry about hair-drying or products for a few months because it was so short
I did get called some horrible names at school though
But it was worth it

Of course, I'm not suggesting that Mandi shaves her hair right off, but it is very liberating

Summer in the pool, easy. I am always saying to ds, dont splash me as I dontwant my hair to get wet etc. now I can just jump in & wont care.

The other thing you wake up in the mornings your late, wash hair, no extra time etc.

My hair has quiet a bit of grey in it now, I have given up on dying it, would love to have it really short but just not sure if it will suit me.

Hair length - mine is waist length, the few times I've thought about getting it shorter, DH has said "well whatever, it's your hair but I love it long."  & I love it when he brushes it for me, too - he does the best head massages beforehand!!!   That is always enough to make me happy!!!

I got fed up with drying & using straightening irons. My hair is fine & oily so needs to becwashed daily.

Hair dresser? What hair dresser? I haven't had my hair cut for 18 months by a hairdresser, last hair cut was a few weeks ago when I cut my own hair
Maybe it's time I ventured in and seen the local hairdresser and ask about some advise on what to do with my thick black and grey hair.

Yes go & treat yourself, you have been doing well on the food budget, so give yourself a treat. You will feel so much better after

Thanks so much ladies DS did wonderful last night and to be honest I never realised how lovely his voice is, all his teachers over the years have commented but I thought they were just being nice 

Anyway my happy for today i finally finished cleaning out my pantry and now it is spotless, I threw out so many out of date things it wasn't funny and now I can see what I do and don't have, I also donated my old recipe magazines to the good sam's they give them to school's etc, so all in all about 12 bags of stuff gone

I'm really happy today as Miss18mths has been in pants for a few weeks, but yesterday and today we have had NO accidents!!   - Yay!!

Thanks very proud and yes I don't do well with mess/clutter everything has to have a spot or it doesn't belong in my house , I try and teach my kids messy room, messy mind. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but that's parenting for you
