These have a texture between a muffin and a cookie (well mine did) and are very tasty little morsels.  I cooked them for 15 minutes because I made 46 cookies whereas the recipe says 30 and to cook for 15-20 minutes. Next time I would cook them for 20 minutes so they are a bit more crispy but they are still delicious as they are.  I didn't use wholemeal SR flour where stated as I didn't have any so I just increased the white SR flour amount.

Give some to Mum and take a container of them to Geoff's room for visitors Kimmy.  I could freeze some for when I see the grand kids too I guess.  I've eaten 3 already, you know what it's like - you wonder if this one is as nice as the last one  :-))

I just whipped up a very quick apricot crumble using canned pie apricot and topped with some of these cookies crumbled over the top for GS tomorrow.  Dotted with butter and baked 25 minutes.

Thanks Suzanne, he probably won't even eat it but Mum and I will.  He only took 1 bite out of the cookies last week, not a great lover of cake and biscuits.

I whipped these ones up yesterday morning before breakfast! They were quick to make and very yummy. I didn't have any macadamias, so didn't use them and they were still great. The taste & texture reminded me a bit of banana bread (in a good way)

They are a nice alternative to 'junk' that I can keep in my handbag for DD when we go out -and a handy snack for supper.

Will definitely be making them again.

Love these! Made them for DD and I to take on a picnic to Floriade today. So quick to whip up! And yummy without the guilt :)

Made these a couple of days ago but I didn't particularly like them as I like my biscuits crunchy and banana tends to make things soft. They mixture tasted great before cooking and they weren't too bad once freshly baked however as they are a soft bread-like biscuit, I didn't like them. I also got more out of the recipe than stated.

Fortunately, my toddler loves them and can't get enough of them.

That's exactly why I haven't made them as to me, they look like a hard cake.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
