Lovely photo Chookie.
Katie, life on the farm can be a busy time, you never know what will happen next.

Met a friend at a local farm shop that has a tearoom that only trades during the summer months, It’s lovely there but we were bothered by wasps. After our refreshments we looked at the produce for sale  in the farm shop. My friend bought Victoria Plums and Greengages,

K Atie,  it is sad to see the sheep in trouble with this terrible cold weather.  Do you hand raise any lambs?
CC, Greengage plums, a true sign of Summer.  Lovely.
Just house cleaning today.

Chookie I have hand raised poddy lambs before , but it is a lot of work and you need to be around all the time . We just try to mother them up to ewes that loose theirs .

I did the food shopping this morning. I ran into a Mum whose girls I taught about 30 years ago. Fortunately I remembered their names as they were lovely girls.

That would have been lovely for you, Cookie.

Being in retail we don't often see well behaved kids in the shop and, when we do, I always make sure I thank the parents for having such well behaved children and say how much we appreciate it.

A pleasant surprise for you cookie. I have a friend who still lives in the area in which she taught so when we’re out she often sees her early students all grown up.

That sounds relaxing KAtie.
Today I went out to a place called All About Bread. They sell all sorts of flour, bread mixes and everything associated with bread making. I bought some rye flour, some purple wheat flour, and some Khorasan flour. Also a couple of six packs of rye type breads and another of flavoured breads. I can’t wait to try them.

What fun Cookie.  Like Judy, can’t wait to see what you make.
Out all day today.  Dropped GD off early at Federation Uni where she is doing Work Experience.  Want to study Paleontology.  Worked with the Scientist who found the giant Wombat footprint.  Paid bills, coffee and shopping.
Made Ratatouille for Sunday, cooked Dinner.

Yesterday a really nice thing happened.  As we don’t want to do long holidays away from home while Rals medication is being adjusted, we are doing more short trips.  A new 5 star hotel is being built , attached to Chadstone Shopping Center.  The Accor group that we have joined as a Plus member have offered members an discounted introductory offer. You have to book online. Over several days I tried to do this but it didn’t work.  I rang the hotel and was told I could only book on line. However the booking manager booked us in online.  We also wanted an extra night but the price was astronomical.  She said we were eligible for a free night.

Sounds good to me Chookie. I believe the Chadstone Shopping Centre is huge, do you plan on spending much time there?

Well Chookie you will be the envie of all teens , DD has talked about this for ages . Cookie those flours look very interesting.
Hockey DD last night , late game 6 pm a tad cold but magical sunset . DD got a goal and they won . Decided to stay the night so we all had a quick bite by a roaring fire . DS had early hockey game this morning , DH and I managed to be a bit late as we needed a coffe to warm us up . DS got an impressive goal and they won . Yes now we play next weekend too. The wind was relentless . Shopping a snack and home . First Sunday with no sport for a long time .
