Has anyone else made Tenina's recipe she made to cook pork belly in an airfryer?  I had a go today and it's so delicious.  The dipping sauce was so flavoursome. I allowed myself a small serve with the coleslaw which went really well with it.

My only mistake was I added the caramelised pineapple to the slaw earlier in the day and by the time I came to serve it the lovely golden colour had tuned to a weak purple colour from the red cabbage  :-))  Live and learn.

In the coleslaw part, my only change was to use pineapple pieces from a tin (in juice not syrup) as fresh pineapple is something else I can't eat and it worked really well so would do that again.  I also reduced the brown sugar in the dressing.

I cut into smallish cubes so they could be picked up and dipped into the little pot of dressing.  :D

JulieO that pork looks delicious.
Chookie the blade cover came out then it sold out straight away . For some reason they have not been available for ages . Can use it on both the TM5 and 6 , it is used for the sous vide mode , giving a larger area to use.
Pork cider stew really very nice .
Apple crumble made by DH DS and I .

Julie that looks and sounds very nice.  We are having a friend over next week and she has been in iso for many weeks.  I am going to cook her Pork Belly.  I usually try Judys method.  ( she cooks the best Pork Belly)  will check out Teninas recipe.  Thanks for the link.
KATIE, thanks for the info about the blade cover.  Sounds interesting.

Thanks girls, was a nice treat for me.  I had a look in my files and it was 2012 when I last made pork belly!  I honestly can't remember it though.

Chookie, using the airfryer made it so easy.  Her dipping sauce was lovely, though I recommend reducing the sugar a bit.  Both that and the pineapple coleslaw were good accompaniments with the pork.

With what I can gather she's going to be coming up with more airfryer recipes so I look forward to seeing what else she comes up with.  :D

Will see how the pork re-heats later for DH, I'm back to a Michelle B meal tonight.  ;D

A treat every now and then won’t do any harm Julie, I doubt anyone could make that delicious looking meal and not want some themselves.
I’m having Thai chicken curry, cauli rice and spinach balls.

Julie, I love my AF.  I make a small batch of scones and bread rolls in mine. On my blog the recipe for Bread rolls mixed in TMX and baked in AF is the 3 rd all time favourite recipe out of over 400 recipes. I have several SS dishes that I bought to fit.  The new generation AF are a great improvement over Turbo ovens which are a form of AF.  These new ones fit in the dish washer which the Turbos didn’t.  40 years ago I had  German made one .  It was toughened glass.  Not as effective but a Godsend for our little Caravan.
There are lots of good recipes with times on the Forum. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=14903.msg341490#msg341490

Judy, thanks a million for putting in the links.  I have found that anything placed in the AF that is likely to jump around , can be held in place by placing a crumpet ring over the food.

We love the air fryer. There are a lot of different ones around now, so when ours gives up I will have a good look around.

I think Tenina is doing a fair bit of outside work now, as with many businesses the Covid 19 has probably put a spanner in her business. I know she had a couple of foodie trips that had to be cancelled.

We took one of the old cars to Fremantle at lunchtime and had fish and chips. Dinner will be a coffee and possibly nothing else. I am so full.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Thanks for those links Judy, I'd forgotten all about them as I didn't have one back then.  Will have a good look through them when I have the chance.

Chookie, I haven't tried scones or anything like that yet but I will do.  ;D

As a side note, the pork did crispen up like new the following day when DH had his other serve.  8)
