Do you ever see dolphins d JulieO? I’m trying to picture where you walk. We’ve been to your town/city a few times. It’s quite a unique place. We have always enjoyed our visits.

Overcast, 13 max.
I finally am getting some relief from the Sciatica. For no reason that I can determine, the pain has suddenly decreased.
I didn’t think this was possible but I have missed my morning exercise.

Oh Chookie, that's no good.  I've never had it but have heard it's painful.  Glad you are starting to feel better.

Cookie, yes we see dolphins quite often. They come close to shore for a good feed.  They are around more as the day goes on as they swim alongside the boats coming into the marina.  They also love swimming along side people in kayaks.  Have seen some lovely photos on facebook.  Just love them.

There's also a couple of seals that frequent around where I walk too.  The last time I saw one it was swimming alongside the groin and I was waving frantically and doing a little bit of a jump.  I did get its attention and It did stop and look at me then carried on lol.  Probably thought I was an idiot. Anyway,  I was most pleased that there wasn't anybody else around at the time.  ;D

Cookie, if you've stayed at the caravan park down the beach which is right at the end of the beach, that's where I leave my car and do the walk along the boardwalk, around the jetty then turn off on the groin to the end.  Turn around and walk back.  It's a 3.5km round trip.

Julie, that is lovely to see wild sea creatures. DD often sees Dolphins when she is Kayaking. She said they seem to enjoy the company.
Back to Winter here.  Got the woolies out.

Yes they do Chookie, have seen some great photos of them swimming along side of the kayaks here.  There was a pod of 4 this morning but they were more interested in diving for fish than anything else.  An early breakfast  :D

Friend has returned home.  We all did what we enjoy most.   She cleaned up my veggie patch.  Amazing.  I cooked for her to take home. RAL sat on mower and went round and round. Her puppy sat and looked at the chooks.
First day for weeks that I have had very little pain.  :)

Glad you are starting to feel a bit better Chookie, hopefully you'll improve each day.

Bit of a miserable morning here, overcast but not cold.  Rain is forecast for later and thunderstorms tomorrow!  Hope we get it.

I have an early hair appointment this morning so about to shower and get ready.  Hope everyone has a good day.  :D

JulieO, lucky you with a hair appointment ... I can't get in to my hairdresser until late on 13 November!!  My hair will be a complete mess by then - he'll need a lawn mower to sort it out..

;D Cuilidh!  Sorry for laughing but the visuals of your comment had me laughing.  Does your hairdresser have a cancellation list?  I can empathise, I feel so much better after being done.  :D

The sky here is getting very dark.  Have put all our indoor plants out in readiness which guarantees the rain will pass us over  :P

DH and I went and did our beach walk again just after lunch.  He's back at work in the morning but if the rain does set in at least I've got an extra walk in.  There were lots of school kids from one of the high schools fishing off the jetty, they seemed to be enjoying themselves.  It was very windy and cold but it blew the cobwebs out!  :D

I’m glad the MRI is done Chookie. My doctor put me on cholesterol lowering medication, because apparently the level for diabetics has to be round 4. Mine was ok, but not near this level.

Marina, like JulieO I had a chuckle. I had visions of the hairdresser doing your hair with a mini lawnmower.

Well Marina you will enjoy that hair cut , a great treat !
Chookie glad you have got that MRI out of the way , maybe as you have not been moving around as much with the sciatica it’s affected your cholesterol, that may not relate either.
Few nice days to wash and dry sheets .
