Great catch - did you eat them for dinner?

As you know it was Louis first birthday today. We had a lovely family day together with a BBQ at lunchtime and this afternoon had birthday cake.My DD allowed Louis to have a taste of the chocolate cake and my goodness he loved it. :D :D :D
DH made Louis a box of wooden bricks as one of his presents.I thought you might enjoy seeing them.

Great to hear he was able to taste the cake but you may have started something you'll have no control of now!
The blocks are lovely, looks like great craftmanship.

We went fishing this afternoon and it was a positive time. We were only out for about 2 hours and then it got a bit rough so we came in.

I caught the biggest and the smallest, DH caught the middle one. The baldchin groper gave me quite a battle, it was great fun.

Fresh fish!!

Yum... Wish I could fish like you,  Cookie :)

Been at the office for the morning, and about to head off to pick up DD from kindy and then DS from school.  Then going to watch a basketball game tonight.   8)

It is SO cold here today.  Winter is here now.  :( Luckily I managed to find an extension cord in our storeroom today so I could heat the office.

I love the wooden blocks, CC!!

Thanks BZB. I think it is a matter of being there when they bite. We often come back empty handed.

CC what lovely blocks. My DH was impressed too.

We went out to breakfast this morning   Enjoyable apart from the seagulls trying to take your food.

Washed the sheets and towels this morning, hopefully they will be dry enough to bring in later today.

I have spent the last hour looking for my camera.  :-)) Can't remember where I put it and Iwanted to take a photo of my bread.

Lovely blocks CC.  I am sure they will get a lot of use.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I drove to Perth last night for a 9 am doctors appt this morning. I was having breakfast at a cafe just down from the surgery about 8:30 when she called me to cancel our appointment.  :( I know that she can't help  getting sick but I wish I had found out before driving 200km.
