Love your cat Maddy. Our cats are rescue cats too. Our big grey cat rolled over in his cage as I walked past, so I could rub his tummy. That was it, he had stolen my heart, and I couldn't leave him behind:) We were looking at getting a kitten for the kids and he was already about 12 months old. We were told that he was fully grown- but they were so wrong as he grew a lot bigger, and now is growing wider as well!

I had a lovely evening last night with my book club. We stole the idea from the Christmas Cookie Club book, and we baked a dozen biscuits for each person, plus one for the Salvos. We drank some bubbles, talked about our bikkies, and what we were grateful for this year. I have come home with a lovely stash of biscuits

It happens to us all Amy, gives us a bit of a scare though.

I cleaned out the spice drawers and put everything back in all neat and tidy in alphabetical order - bet I can't find anything now  ;)

I had pasta boiling on one hotplate and some pork fillets in a panon another. The flames from the gas stove came up around the sides of the pan. I guess I had the heat too high :-))

Glad to hear I'm not the only one Judy ;D

Lovely cat photos - DD's cat is from the Lost Dogs Home (guess she was really lost LOL), she picked us, not the other way round. Have to go back there after Xmas - have promised the other DD we'll get a dog this year, and I don't do puppies! (Although I'm sure if I saw a really cute one I would change my mind).

Supposed to be working in the office today, but got a call from the school nurse about 2pm - DD not feeling well so I've picked up both the kids and now finishing off my work at home. (when I"m not on here that is). We had a 'team breakfast' this morning, still feeling full from that!

Went for a long walk with Miss 2 in the pram (been a while!). She fell asleep and is suddenly my little baby again. Love watching her.

Love the cat & the biccies ES.

Both our cats were found homeless. One now prefers the  neighbours as they spoil him rotten, the other is so timid she lives under our bed or down the drain, she is soo fat.
