Spent the last. 2 days on bas statements...and I'm now finally Dunzo!.....so glass of bubbles in one hand, iPad in the other, and watching a recorded episode of cupcake wars...love that show!.....so I will enjoy for a little longer before I shove some pizzas in the pizza maker.

Amy your knees will feel hot at the moment anyway because of the swelling. Don't worry about the weeping as that is natural and part of the body's healing process. If, in a few daysi you have hot spots or swelling in you armpits or groin then you may have an infection but I doubt they will get infected as you cleaned up pretty quick. It will take a week or so for the swelling to go down and I am sure your patella is  fine. It is a pretty  tough piece of equipment and you did not twist it sideways so wait and see.


Of course you could go to the hospital emergency dept and get all the stuff for free or a local free clinic.

Thanks Judy, I did consider chopping my knees off to save myself all the trouble, but I figured that would make triathlons pretty hard :-))

Oh yes, I most certainly do and you can certainly relate to that now you have your little grand-son.  I have him again on Monday because, would you believe it, his child-care is having a child-free day  ???
