I love our morning juice :).

We throw in: 3 peeled halved oranges, 1 peeled kiwi fruit, any leftover peeled citrus from cooking the night before, 1 roughly chopped carrot, 1 cored chopped apple and about 1 cup of ice then blitz for 30 - 60 secs on speed 9.
Add 1c of water (or more to taste) and blitz for another 30 secs on speed 8.

This makes enough for dh and I and a couple of the children (they don't all like "thick" juice :) ).

I did this yesterday as an experiment seeing as it was our first day.  I used fresh oranges and some frozen mango cubes.  It wasn't straight mango, I pureed up some mango from a tin inc the juice in it.  It was very thick but very yum.

Made this OJ:

3 big navel oranges
50g ice
1 sachet stevia sweet
80g water

--> very nice and refreshing. Got 9/10 from fussy DS :)

Also works great without the sugar  :)

Otherwise stevia is a great alternative as suggested.

I shouldn't think you would need to add sugar to this recipe. Oranges are sweet enough. I juice orange flesh and cubes of ice and it is lovely.

Im the same - I don't add sugar just the oranges and the ice. My family love it this way.
