Kasundi Recipe
« on: January 17, 2015, 08:16:24 pm »
Does anyone have a recipe for Kasundi they have used successfully?
Kasundi is a lovely Indian chutney/sauce.
I would like to make my own and wondered if anyone has a tried and true recipe.
Thanks

This is also a recipe community recipe which I have made and it has been very popular (not only tasty, it's also easy):

Thanks Cuilidh and JD.
I wanted to make a recipe hat someone else had tried.
I will give this a try and let you know how I go.
This is such a lovely sauce with veggies and meat and eggs etc.

Hi Bootobethin - I have a recipe from a preserving workshop I went to some time ago . . . it's not a TMX recipe but a lovely one nonetheless ;)   Be more than happy to pm it to you if you'd like to check it out . . .

I made Alyces for Xmas presents and it was well received.  Very easy, but beware it is very hot. Definitely reduce the chilli if you would like it to be milder.
