The wonderful, generous spirit of the forum family - someone needs a a Christmas lunch, invite them over. So generous of you Robyn.

Judy, we have always had plenty of refrigeration, it has been the cooking facilities that have been the problem. The first house at Cherokee had one of those upright gas stoves. The Xmas turkey wouldn’t fit so I had to cut the legs off and cook them on the BBQ. I already had the pork in the BBQ.

Chooks automatics water containers need attention. Need to do this before it gets too hot.

A quick trip to the supermarket this morning before the heat.  Left my list at home but managed to get most of the things I needed. >:(

Mab, that is very good.    If I leave my list at home I usually buy nothing I need  and lots of things I don’t need.

Quick trip to Supermarket!!! No such thing here.
Spent 3 hours in veggie garden today. Good for the soul.
Cut seed heads off red poppies and chives. Will save the seeds. Anyone want some?

We went down to Rockingham today. DH usually goes by himself on Saturdays but today I went with him. We called in to see his brother's partner and have coffee and then went to see MIL.

I fooled around a lot of today. I did get the ironing done and this afternoon I made some rolls for dinner.

Today we had Chookie and Ral for lunch.  What a lovely couple and a most relaxing afternoon spent under our elm tree; however, I have just realised we forgot to offer them tea or coffee before they left - perhaps they will come back soon for a 'cuppa.
