I was just pottering around this morning, when DH asked if I wanted to out for brunch. We didn't really want to sit (if you can) in a cafe. We got a takeaway and ate it by the lake. Ended up buying a space heater for my "craft room" (it's an old fashioned box room, which I have taken over) and a a new microwave oven, very over due.

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday. We had ours last week.
DH is beginning to paint our living area. Its fa8irly large so he is doing one side at a time. It means everything is everywhere. Therefore I have done very little. I couldn't even sit and read as all the easy chairs are in a group in one side of the room. What he has done looks very nice. It's basically the same colour as before.

I hope DH finishes the room fairly quickly cookie so that you can get to your easy chairs.
I took the dogs for their final walk this morning then washed all their bedding, even if it was only used for 3 nights I like to put it away smelling fresh.  It’s nice to have my house back to myself but it was nice to have them so that the kids could have a nice break in the country.  GD now wants her parents to buy a holiday house in the country to go with the one they have down on the south coast. Kids think money is so easily come by!

The doggies have their own bedding at your place Judy. That would be very easy to just to bring them for holidays.
Painting freshens everything up and makes the space feel new. You don't realise how big your house is until you paint it .

Well done Cookies DH.   Love a freshly painted house but hate the disruption.

I cleaned out the freezer yesterday and reorganized everything.  I found 52 200g packets of tomatoes that I had cooked over summer and just popped in the freezer.  No wonder they kept falling out every time I opened the door.

Strict drop off no parent getting out of the car . DS pleased to be back , so much so not coming home on the weekend . School holidays very very soon . Beautiful day beside the white frost this morning.

We had unexpected visitors this morning and some more coming this afternoon. It's lovely to have visitors again.

I’ve been shopping for plants and food, made a lamb shank stew and re-sorted the freezer to make room for all the meat I bought today.  The gym centre rang me this morning, our first outing with them is starting this Friday for only 8 people in a mini bus for a heritage tour of Port Adelaide and lunch at one of the local hotels.  I decided I would go, it must be 3 months since our last outing.  Social distancing will still take place but we’re all used to that anyway.

Mab, I had a good laugh at the Tomatoes.  Must do same as yesterday I discovered several suspicious looking containers in the fridge.
Day care for lamb again today.  We don’t mind as she is growing well after a rough start.

Yesterday I had my 6 monthly check with the dermatologist. Nothing to be cut out but he ran amok with the liquid nitrogen. I am looking very speckled at the moment as most are on my face.

This morning we had our dental visit, which had to be put off twice. All good there too.
I might curl up with my book this afternoon as it’s wet.

Judy, enjoy your day out tomorrow.  If the weather is anything like the last few days it will be lovely to be out and about.  The sun has been glorious, warmer out than in  ;D

I've got a check up and clean next Thursday Cookie, hopefully all is well.  :)

Judy, what fun to go for a trip.
Cookie, good not to have any cut out.  Who cares if you are a bit Spotty for a few days.
We went shopping today. Got 1/2 of the things on the list. Got The potato flour  :)
They were counting the people in and out of Bunnings.  Got some seedlings.
