Gert,  I would use my AF about once a day.  Biggest problem is where to place it.  Mine is next to the stove which is good .  If it smokes I can put the fan on.  It has only smoked once.
Advantages ,  cheap, convenient with draw that pulls out and can place both wire basket and base in dish washer.  Heats up in 3 minutes,
Disadvantage,  size.  Would like larger cooking area.

Gert my DS uses it the most to heat pies, chicken, wedges etc he will be making toasted sandwiches in it for breakfast next week. I have cooked steak, wings and drumsticks and reheated pizza it has many uses. I would be tempted to buy a cheaper one next time buy don't think they come as big as the Phillips XL. Have also cooked a whole chook which was yum

I made grilled tomato & cheese in mine the other day. Preheated to 200o, buttered frozen bread on the underside and it only took a few minutes to cook.  I obviously threw out my piece of paper with the times on it but just check on it occasionally and you'll see when it's ready.

I will put it on my maybe wish list. If uni buys another one then that will mean that she really missed it. everything cooked it in looks great and I think I would use it occasionally but not enough to leave it on the kitchen bench where space is needed. I probably use my BBQ more than most as we more or less live outside.

Haven't given up on the AF  but get this....had an invite to a Thermomix event here and wrote back to the consultant saying I would not bother as I am waiting for the new model and said I might be interested in hosting a demo  after Sept 8. She wrote back and saying she looked forward to a demo in Sept. I wrote back saying only if she brought the new machine and I could round up a couple of friends money. Let you know if I hear back.

Just now realised I will be in NZ when it is all happening. Bugger! Still I will have my iPad.

Too funny an ad just popped up here with a $50 cash back offer on the Phillips AF.

Getting pressure from everywhere.

It looks like it's common knowledge amongst demonstrators then Gert.

I would say all the group leaders have had to sign non disclosure agreements and probably cannot even tell the consultants. Who knows.

I still use mine. My second one hasn't had a problem. I don't use it every day but it is good for grilling and heating. I will do schnitzels during the week in it.

I think along with BZB I was one of the first to puchase the Airfryer and while we don't use it everyday it's getting plenty of use and I would definitely get another if something happended to mine. The kids both use it for heating up things, I make home made chips (potato & sweet potato) quite a bit to add to their dinner, haevn't cooked pork belly in the oven since buying, will quite often on the weekend will roast a chicken or small piece of meat for DH to use for his lunches during the week and we seem to go through pita crisps extremely quickly. I have a big oven that takes a long time to heat up and doesn't crisp very well so love the ease of the AF.
