Morning Everyone,
I am sure your friend appreciates you Uni, wishing her a speedy recovery. Eve makes the cutest bunny, i can imagine she gives you all los of pleasure.
We had 18 for Sunday lunch but no egg hunt.  Many happy memories of  many in the past and looking forward to some in the future, hopefully.
Enjoying some cooler nights here but desperate for good rain.

I  have a confession to make. I did a wee bit of shopping for my luncheon next Monday. I promised myself to buy only a small amout for the 5 of us. Went to the deli and bought 4 small bits of cheese just enough for a decent small cheese plate to finish the meal. I was so good but in the way out........here it comes.......they had a bin full of bargains and there on the top was a jar of German Mustard for only $2.50. Yes I did buy it. I put it in the pantry next to  .........ok...... I did count them and I have 13 jars of mustard amounting to over 2 kilos of the yellow stuff.

But that is the first time I have weakened since starting my challenge not to shop until the freezer is empty and the pantry reduced .

Tomorrow I have vowed to use 2 things from the pantry to compensate.

I was really good Judy as they had a lovely display of Truffle stuff from WA. Oils, vinegars , pastes etc. didn't touch 'em.

Yeah the mustard thing has got to stop.

Maybe when the freezer is empty and my pantry is sufficiently reduced I will buy a rabbit and make a nice mustard sauce for it. I love mustard.

Used up a good lot of anchovies today in a salad dressing for a wee salad with my gnocchi .  Cooking a nice corn fed chook from the freezer tomorrow and must find two things in the pantry to have with it as my punishment for adding  one item to the pantry. Don't know what yet. Baked beans?
