Good morning everyone  :)

Thanks ladies for the tea suggestions I'll check it out.  There are no fancy tea shops in my area but I'm sure I can find one on the internet.

Good morning everyone, nice to see the forum back this morning.  Thanks for the tea advice girls, anything is worth a go.

Sorry to hear you've been sick Gert, though you were quiet there for a while.  I agree, if you don't feel like cooking then don't

Take care Gert. We can't have our Cairns Queen being ill.  ;)

so told Ral I am not cooking for a week.

Chookie, if you're serious, I can see withdrawal symptoms gathering on the horizon!! ;D

Gert, sorry to hear you've been sick . . .hope it's all back to normal for you very soon.

Today (Tuesday) was the first time I've done any shopping at all since last Friday week!!  If I tell my offspring that, they'll be asking me what I have done with their mother!!   ;D ;D  I have a 2 drawer freezer as part of the fridge and a small bar type freezer.  The latter was turned off yesterday as I was able to transfer what was left in that one to the former.  Also discovered in the back of the freezer some of those gorgeous chocolate souffles (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3675.0) that had been in there since Christmas :-)) ???  So from the freezer yesterday for lunch, I had some of the minestrone (which always seems to improve with age) that I had made a while ago, and a great little pudding for desert!  (Loving this pantry/freezer thingy!!)

Yah, Goldfish  ;D What a win.
I would love to turn my freezer off and just use the fridge/freezer. After all it is only DH and I.

Thanks everyone. I am fine now just not doing any wonderful cooking for a while. After cooking for DH's and family for 49 years I am taking a break. LOL!

You can do it! I have asked myself why I had so much in the freezer anyway with just the two of us. Absolutely no need. I can't believe how much I have saved not shopping.

Good to see you back  Gert. I got a free sample of sleep tight, i will try the mix.  Nighty night actually taste good too.
I must confess to blowing hot and cold with my cooking.  Think you deserve a break Gert. Take care.
Well done GoldFish, switching off a freezer.
Thanks for the email CC, glad its all back on today.
