Judy, restaurant quality meals. Spoilt guest.
I had 2 large chicken breasts to cook. I cooked one in the Varoma with veggies and pineapple successful, the other, I bought a bottle of pre-made Indian mixture. Awful stuff. Much better to make own mix in TMX. 3

Dr said RSV essential . Available 17 th May. Have it late May. Also has ordered a blood test prior to Polia injection. Didn’t know about that. My new Dr is a Geriatrician. Young enough to see me through.
I’ve been invited to a fashion show today. Not sure I’ll go, too much on. 4

Cookie, Probus are organising a trip to Mildura and Swan Hill. Our club has been invited. Somehow I’ve ended up with the job of doing the administration . Yesterday I finally contacted the last person.
Afternoon tea with Probus today. 6

Disaster. Fig and pear paste didn’t work. The sugar in the mixture burnt before the mixture reached the right consistency. I’ll stick to making jam with the rest of the figs.

Tomato soup and bread. Home grown tomatoes and TMX chicken stock. I made a small loaf with Laucke sprouted wheat . Bit like wholemeal but nicer.

Katie, that is a very big task. I’ve found that it’s best to delegate what you can.

Made a small loaf with walnuts and dried cranberries. I used the yolks from 3 800 gram eggs in the custard tarts. I think the 700 are better. The custard was, to my liking, a little too thick.
I pickled some small gerkins. This is the first time. They are lovely. Also beetroot. DD loved these. Judy, the Bircher Museli I make has apple, oats and kefir, plus add on of fresh berries and nuts. 15
