Bedlam's Silver Cleaner
« on: November 30, 2014, 04:16:53 pm »
( Didn't want Denise's tip on how to clean silver to get lost in the Christmas Challenge so have copied it here ;D)

Alfoil and bicarb of soda is great for silver. Tablespoon of bicarb and crunched up Alfoil  in container with silver, pour over boiling water.  My Nan used this method. Then polish with a soft cloth, sometimes if badly tarnished, you need to do it a couple of times.

I've been using this method for years and it is really good - it works so quickly you can see the tarnish disappearing as you watch.

I've heard of it but never used it, nice to hear it does actually work.
