Thanks Marina, I’m sure I’ll have them again when I get the craving. Not exactly a substantial meal but they hit he spot.

Re my bread, yes I'm slowly trying to eliminate things Judy.

Dinner tonight is hamburgers. Fortunately my Chookie No Fuss rolls have never been a catastrophe, so I have those rising. It's very slow here today as it's freezing.

Go for it Judy. Chips sound nice. I’ve made some potato cakes dipped in SD batter. I try not to eat too many but the are very yummy and not like shop bought ones.  The batter is very light and crispy.

We're having a chicken stir fry with home made noodles. With veggie soup left over from last night.

We had Ravioli Lasagne from Cookidoo to night. It’s very nice.

Made Beef in Stout from Cookidoo. Mashed potatoes to go with it. Steamed green beans. Neighbour brought in a delightful array of little dishes of food , plus sweets. Will have it for dinner tonight.

Yes Judy, the sauce is mince, tomato and the usual bits.

That sounds like fun Chookie. I hope it isn't too cold. We are having a hearty casserole as its WA cold here.

Food van was a great success.  Eggplant in tomato sauce is a dish I will try and make. As we waited for our takeaway, we were given a cup of soup. This was also delicious.

Isn’t it nice to do something different Chookie. We once took DH’s Mother up to the city late at night to have a pie floater from a food van in front of the Adelaide Casino just so that she could have that experience for the first time.
