He had surgery on Thursday morning which apparently went well. He is getting lots of cuddles and I'll pick him up tomorrow, I've had to purchase a crate to keep him in for the next 4-6 weeks as he is not allowed to move. He has a couple of tiny pins that are criss crossed in and holding the growth plate together that if they come out he could end up with a leg that sticks out. Little Gracie is missing him being around, bu there's lots of nursing ahead.

Poor Peanut, it's going to be hard to keep him calm and still - good luck with his recovery period CP.  Gracie will be happy to see him tomorrow.

Poor peanut. Little boy puppies manage to get themselves into all sorts of bother don't they - just like many little boys!! hope the surgery went well and the recuperation goes according to plan. Gracie will be happy to see him home.

My dog broke a leg as a puppy and we had to crate him for 6 weeks - on the bright side it made toilet training easy as he was taken outside and never got any house habits.

One of my dogs was hit by a car at only 15 weeks and was crated for over 4 months - he's never once done any of his business inside the house - a traumatic time but we always say that at least some good came out of it!

Teeny is 8 today.  This is him with a new Martha Stewart Pet Collection toy we bought him the US last month.  We bought him (and Josie and the late Tiny) to Frankfurt from Melbourne, Australia.  He used to be terrified of Thermie but he has learned that if he hangs around the kitchen, he might get lucky.  He is our dog but he loves Ed the most.

And this is Josie.  She is my darling.  She is an Aries (like me) and we really understand each other.  She is not fond of Ed, or Teeny for that matter,
