Hi Brazen. I have adapted quirky's rice milk recipe. For 1ltr of water this is what I do.
70gm brown rice
1tbls linseed
1tbls sunflower seed
1-2 tbls almonds
1-2 tbls desicated coconut
Mill the above for 40-50sec speed 9
add 1tbls raw honey or maple syrup and 1tbls coconut oil
cook 6mins 60oc speed 4.
You can then strain it or use it straight up to make porriage, polenta, rice porriage etc. I usually use it straight away (I cook it at 100oc if making porriage etc.., for about 5mins) so don't both to strain as then we get the extra goodies.
Hope this helps

Just a thought are you using white rice - it's much more starchy than brown and could be making it gluey...

i use brown rice, cashews, rice bran oil, a tiny amount of salt, and water. which is exactly what i was using before when it was working perfectly! (i don't like it sweetened) i think i'm still milling it too much, i did 60 seconds speed 10 yesterday and had been doing 1 min for the rice and then 1 min with the cashews!!! lol
i might try milling it for only 30 secs and leaving to soak overnight instead :)

I've never tried rice milk, but I did have a thought.
If you mill the nuts too long, wouldn't you end up with almond butter instead of almond powder? That could make it gluey.

or almond flour, that was my thought too.
yesterdays i milled both nuts and rice for 30 seconds only, it's not as bad but it's still gluggy today :(
