What have you been doing today?

Beautiful candles Maddy.  I love the milk shakes, they look so real.

A load of washing this morning and just general cleaning up.  The builder is still here in the bathroom so that is one room I don't have to go into.  He is doing a very good job and is keeping everything neat and tidy.

Maddy, those candles really look realistic.  It reminded me of a drink we used to have which was mixed in those glasses.  A small ladle of syrup a vanilla icecream mashed in the syrup and topped up with lemonade.  Lime was very popular but cannot think for the life of me what the drink was called  "something float" I think!!

Smelling delicious!....the vanilla scent first, then probably in another hour or two,  I'll get to smell the strawberry....luckily boys are at the footy, and I don't have to listen to them whinging about the aroma

Maddy, I wish I had some of your beautiful candles. I am burning a plain white one at the moment as there is a bad smell in the family room. Our cats often bring us "presents" in the form of dead rodents, but I can't find a body. I think something has died in the ceiling, but there is nothing I can do about it as we have a flat roof. We will just have to wait it out

He's he certainly did INAID.  I got the reaction I thought I would.  One was our wedding photo with my parents and his Mum and the other was taken at the base of a replica staircase from the Titanic Exhibition in Melbourne some years ago.  My DD and SIL took us so we are all in the picture and Geoff loves anything Titanic.  I stuck it under the Titanic picture in his room.

I hope the small goes away soon ES.  The hot weekend isn't going to make it very pleasant though.

Well its meant to be 26 today & some drizzle. We can only hope.

If so after gym will dig up veggie patch.

I'm off to the farmers market at Abbotsford market this morning then SIL for lunch. Weather is warming up in Melbourne so should be a great long weekend.

We are off to tennis this morning before heading to the tablelands for the night. Might try and set up the tent in preparation for our trek to Darwin in July.
