Love the idea Pete, lower cost meals with less ingredients was something I was going to suggest to Tenina at the retreat.  Her recipes are wonderful but with everyone on a budget these days, a recipe book or app for quick, cheap, tasty meals with readily available ingredients would be a certain winner. I'm sure others would agree with me on this point.

Gosh you were up early Pete. Your idea for an app sounds wonderful and ever so useful. Thanks. If your ears are burning on 24th and 25th August it will be because all of us on the forumfest retreat in Margaret River will be saying nice things.

I hope Tenina gets a wee rest from all she is doing in the month of August. Still won't stop us from picking her brain about the HMP and other stuff.

JD, can I also request that you let Tenina know that some of the forum members would like a little text on possible subsitutes for ingredients in her recipes since we cannot access some of the ingredients. Thanks so much. We love her book though...!!!!

Yes I will courton, I agree with you on that one too.  I'm sure she will be interested in feedback from her books.

Hi Gert - I am reviewing the app. at the moment - the most likely case will be an app that contains lower cost 'recipe bundles' rather than all the recipes from a particular book. Will keep the forum updated. Pete

This sounds really good! The dinner spinner app is great - use it often. Both DD and I have the FFS - everything that has come out of it has been great!!

I've noticed that people often ask Tenina about things like this on facebook if you go on it.

You will love it Marie.   Did you read the new disclaimer on Tenina's web site? It is in the About me section and  is hilarious.

Haha, I think the new disclaimer is funny.  Really true though, with more thermo sort of machines on the market.

Most recipes would go ok in any machine.
