So nervous posting first message!!!!!
« on: May 22, 2010, 11:40:25 am »
Hi all, have just decided I needed to join in after reading your great suggestions, recipes etc over the last month. I bought my TMX in January and have used it constantly, but am over the recipe book.  So thank you for all the info and I will continue to log in now, and hopefully I will have some recipes I could share with you.  I am from Perth, have two adult sets of twins and work fulltime, so the TMX is a godsend!

Welcome! Two sets of twins - wow!

You'll find some great inspiration here as well as fantastic tips and hints.

Hi Kezza, two twins, gosh, as the mother of a 15month old I don't know how you coped, well done! I too am getting tired of the cookbooks I got with the machine, perhaps I should try a few more of the recipes in them, but not too many tempt me. I have loved getting some from this site and adapting my own though. Hope you do to

Welcome Kezza. There are quite a few reviews on the forum regarding recipes from the cookbooks. This often helps. Enjoy.

2 sets of twins is truly an amazing feat. Both fraternal sets? How far apart? I bet you wish you had a thermie when you were cooking up endless amounts of baby food!
I have 2 girls, (3 and 5), and id twin boys (1), born 12 days before their eldest sisters 4th birthday, so 4 kids in 4 years. Hard work.

Hi all,

Thankyou for the very warm welcomes.  My kids are laughing at how excited I was to get some replies!

Kimberley, to answer some of your questions.  Both my sets are identical - I had boys first and then 2years and 1 day later I had the girls.  They were born just after midnight after the boys 2nd birthday, so I was very relieved they had their own birthday. That gave me 4 kids 2 years and under!  They were all born in Gosford Hospital, NSW, and I didn't have any of my family with me.  You are right, I certainly could have done with the TMX then, but had a brilliant husband who helped me with everything!

Wow to 2 sets of identical twins!  :o

My neighbour has 2 sets - one fraternal (B&G) and one identical (G&G) as well as 5 singletons!  I think any multiple birth mum is amazing.. you must be doubly so!  ;D
