Oh, forgot to mention about my "Les Miserables" experience yesterday.
We were in gold-class....highly recommend as it goes FOR SO LONG!
15 minutes in, I'm thinking "Crud, I hate this movie....what's with all the singing!"   :P
1/2 way through I am in awe of Hugh's performance, and I'm glued.
Right at the very end....my bladder could withstand no more (the bucket of coffee in morning, and 2 wines during we're to blame).... Sprinted to the loo...and missed the ending!

CRUD!

Maddy  :-)) :-)) :-))

I had fears of being bored witless, and was thinking if they keep singing..."I was peeling a potatoe, and put the skin in the bin, and then I nicked myself, oohhhh"  but when Hugh picked up the ship rope he pulled me in ship, line and anchor. Loved it! Maybe I will watch this again when it goes to rental.

CP I think you are confusing good musicals with Elvis Presley movies. LOL  ;D He couldn't act so he just sang all of his lines. If you enjoyed Les Mis then you should rent Phantom of the Opera.

He is an old Man when he dies. You really should watch it Amy. I have seen the stage play at least 3 times and the movie was just as good if not better in some ways. We went to see it last Monday and I still have the music going through my head.  :)

I might see if it is still screening at the cinema when mum gets home from Perth. I don't think she has ever seen Les Mis either ;)
