ES, love your prep for the show.  Good luck. I checked out those little xFrench pastries. Look lovely. Great rise in those scones. Is the bread also for the show?
Marina, tell DH congratulations.  That is an excellent effort. SD white bread has a low GI. Also love the sound of the mushrooms.
Judy, i agree with you, I think I would have cooked the leek first.
Too cold to do much outside today, will try out a couple of new recipes. Brioche buns with a salted caramel Center and start ES French pastries to rest over night.

I was given a large amount of pumpkin yesterday so made it all up into soup.  Had some for dinner last night and the rest is in the freezer.

Mab, good way to use excess pumpkin.
Visitors for lunch on Sunday but will be at Cherokee until Sat night so have had to get ready. Made 20 small bread rolls. Mixture of Malted grain, white flour and Rye. Under baked by 5 minutes as they will be frozen and reheated.
Made cantucci biscotti as the chooks are laying and these take 6 eggs. Makes a massive amount, 50 but they keep well.  Added chocolate chip, almonds and Craisins . The basic recipe is posted here http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4761.0
Made a Belgium Lemon Teacake.
Cooking a roast leg of lamb in SC as oven has been running for 5 hours. I really miss my double oven. Still, it forces me to plan well when baking so many things.
About to make Mushroom soup to have with mushroom croutons .

Delicious cooking Chookie.
I tied my oven up for 7 hours yesterday. I made Tenina's Pot Set Fruited Yoghurt. It is delicious.

Great cooking astarra, it's good that you had enough room in your freezers for all that food.

Wow Astarra that's great cooking.  I wish I was so organized. :) :)

Yesterday I made Creamy Vegetable soup and Pannacotta for our lunch today.  Then made a Wholmeal Nougat Slice from a friends recipe.  The taste is nice but has far too much sugar in it for me.

This morning I made a batch of Chookies No Fuss Rolls to go with the soup.

Picked lots of Cumquats yesterday , will make jelly.
Lots of Kale growing, not sure what to do with it. Did add some to a pasta sauce made with a goat smoked sausage.
Made mushroom soup. Just a little onion , leek , garlic and lots of mushroom, a little Apple brandy and chicken stock. All cooked and zapped in TMX. Based on a Neil Perry recipe. Very nice.
