Spring has sprung ...
« on: March 18, 2009, 02:26:09 pm »
Hi everyone,
well, Spring has hit in the UK (hurray!), which means that I'm manically working every hour God sends to get my seeds, plants, fruit trees I should already have planted, etc, in.  My husband and I were working in the dark with torches yesterday!!!

Add to that the fact that I'm still trying to catch up with my correspondence after being internet-less for a bit, and I'm sure you'll understand that my presence here is going to be a bit hit and miss for a while.

My apologies to everyone who has been corresponding with me privately and to who I very RUDELY didn't reply  :( :-\ :'(  I'm so very, very sorry.  It isn't deliberate, I'm just in a hopeless state of chaos at the moment and don't know whether I'm coming or going.  Please forgive me - I'll get my act together eventually, honest.  My problem if I get into a state like this is that I don't actually realise that I haven't replied  :-[

Anyway, take care, everyone.  I'll pop up from time to time, but please be tolerant of my lapses and chaotic-ness.  I really don't mean to be rude or ungrateful.
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

You poor things - I know the feeling - there seems to be so much more to do and the days seem to be getting shorter  :-\ :-\ :-\

If you have to be in the garden with torches then that must be the case  ;D ;D ;D

The earth must be spinning faster.  May be I am just not organised ;D ;D ;D ;D

Er, I think it may have something to do with that dreaded thing called a-g- e. It certainly does with me. Time seems to whizz by, I think they keep deleting hours out of the day. Since I've retired I swear that each day has only 20 hours as I just can't seem to do all the things I want to do. ::)

It was hot here yesterday and looks that way today too.  Hopefully it will cool soon and we'll get some of that wet stuff from above.  then we can plant some things.
