Good to hear you are getting over it cookie, we always worry about our house keeping though - or lack of it but youíll get it back to scratch as soon as youíre able to.

That to me would be a nightmare Marina but Iím sure you coped very well with satisfying all their needs.

A fun day in your kitchen Margaret, what a great connection you have with the girls.

I havenít been to Murray Bridge for decades cookie, we were impressed with the cleanliness around the river tourist areas but the Main Street was pretty quiet as they now have 2 large shopping centres there, one built over a decade ago and the second one about 7 years ago. You would have seen the Bunyip down by the river, thatís had a cave built around it and it now costs nothing to watch it do its thing.

Iím pleased that you found this information to answer your question Karcer, such a comprehensive review and after reading it Iím quite happy to stick with my uncomplicated but trusty TM31 for the small amount of cooking I do these days. Thank you for sharing it with us all and welcome to our forum.

Iíve made a smoked cod and creamed corn mornay to try tonight. Mum used to make it and I hated it as a kid but enjoyed it as an adult once a year. Will I still like it now is the question though!

Update, yes it was rather nice.

Donít you hate that - going to all that trouble then having to toss it?  Iíve done that several times so understand how you would have felt Marina.

Isnít it great when you find an old favourite Marina. I might give it a go with fine vermicelli and prawns.

Today I went on a paddle boat lunch trip on the Murray. Up at 5.30 am and back home by 5.30 pm, a long day and in spite of lots of rain throughout the day we had a wonderful time with lots of laughs.

You do still need to eat Chookie so those breaks would be enjoyable to spend in the kitchen doing what you do best. Perfect rolls as we would expect.

Marina thatís not good enough with your machine after a service, for a start it should have come back with new blades if yours were blunt. Iíd certainly be jumping up and down on the spot with them about your observations of the replacement front panel too. Mine was done in Adelaide and they let me know in advance what needed replacing and how much it would cost.

That sounds like a good idea for the lift Chookie, would never have thought of the garage but it does makes sense. I hope theyíre able to do it asap after settlement.

I have watched all that I can with the passing of the Queen, cannot take myself away from it unless I really do have to do something. A remarkable woman to the very end. I loved reading some of the stories that came into my FB feed and this is my favourite story that Iíll share with you all.

ĎShe could be engagingly down to earth. Her favourite activity during shooting parties was picking up the pheasants or grouse after they had been brought down. While at a shoot on a friendís estate, a wounded cock pheasant flew out of a hedge straight at her, flapping and clawing, and knocked her down. There was blood on her clothing from the bird and a detective standing nearby feared she had been shot. He threw himself on top of her and began giving her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. ďI consider we got to know each other rather well,Ē she said, and hired the man for her protection force.í
