Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Yoghurt Whey
« on: October 12, 2013, 06:27:25 am »
I've been wading through yoghurt posts and not able to find any appropriate info. I thought perhaps some forum members may be able to help.
Both my mother and I have a tmx and use exactly same yoghurt recipe, ingredients and technique (Valerie's online recipe via superkitchenmachine website)
The query is: I get hardly any whey formation and my mother gets loads. It's not a problem to stir back in of course, but we can't figure out what is making the difference to the vast extra whey, and we think surely we should be able to get to the bottom of it.
Only thing I can think of is that I've been making it for 8 months and she's been doing it for a month. Could the cultures from the starter be that different, given age?
TIA.

Hi Forum,

In the last few weeks I've noticed a small crack growing on the front panel of my TMX, near the VORWERK logo right above the LED screen, on the plastic facing (hopefully the picture attached properly to show exactly whats happening).
Mr Google hasn't afforded me any answers nor has a search on this forum (I gets loads of info about cracked eggs, having a crack at something, and crackers LOL).
Nothing traumatic has happened to my machine to my knowledge (I'm the only one who uses it in my house)
Before I contact me consultant, I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience?
Thanks in anticipation.

Recipe Requests / Preserving fruit recipes
« on: January 13, 2013, 04:02:03 am »
Hi all, are there any TMX recipes around for preserving fruit not into a jam, chutney, stewing format?? (I'm specifically after apricots). I've a microwave recipe which cooks for 45 mins but I'd love to do it in TMX.
