Now, better be making some  jam to use all this up! :)

I've just come inside after sharing a jug of this with the hubby - it was gorgeous!!! I only added half of the water as I like it strong and it was lush :) hubby would have liked it sweeter (I reduced the sugar too)  but I thought it was perfect.

I've only had my Thermie since Monday but have already experimented a heap with the cordial recipe from the EDC too. Made a grapefruit and a pear version using the berry cordial recipie from the EDC. They are yum, but again, too much sugar for me! I'm looking forward to playing around until I get it right for my taste :)

Had a trip to a pal's house earlier and come home with bags full of fruit from her garden, looks like more cooking to come! I'm sooooooo loving this!! :)

Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Re: Jars and bottles
« on: November 05, 2013, 09:31:27 am »
I have an unhealthy obsession with glass bottles and jars! I buy them whenever I see them at good value and put them away for home made presents. In WA where we have no Cheap as Chips ( :( )I've found Red Dot, RAVE discount and The Reject Shop are pretty good, you just have to look fairly often as you never know what they'll have of course! I bought a heap of those milk bottles that are super trendy right now with screw top lids, for $2 each. These were in Red Dot. I think I almost cleared out my local store!

Tips and Tricks / Helpful cleaning brush

HI guys,

I've got a little silicone cleaning brush for my drink bottle and have found it's really useful at getting stuff out from around and under the blades. I picked mine up in Woolworths but you can get them in loads of places:

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else would find it useful :)

« on: November 04, 2013, 08:59:55 am »
Hi everyone.

My family are massive fans of the Fountain brand 'spicy red' sauce. Does anyone have a recipe for something similar I can whizz up in the TMX??

Massive thanks in advance!

Introduce Yourself / Tooooo excited :)

Hi everyone,

I'm sat here on a glorious Sunday afternoon in WA spending hours searching the internet for Thermie recipes and things before mine is delivered tomorrow morning! I should really be doing something more productive with my day, but this is too much fun! I'm literally so excited, I could burst! lol!

I've craved one of these machines for ages and finally managed to get one - I don't think I'll be going out much in the next week or so, I think I'll be playing with my new toy too much :) ;)
