I am thinking of bringing one of my thermies, and my slow cooker to work. I also have the 5 in 1 slow cook / pressure cook at home too. Does anyone do that. I have heaps of space on my kitchenette bench at work, plenty of time at work to prepare meals, or cook then take home. I have 2 thermo servers, to transport meals in. Just trying to get more organized.. No real Oven at work though..I have a Sunbeam pizza, bake and grill at work.., Microwave too. Any thoughts for me, or ideas.

I was reading today on an article, and I was sad. http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/food/food-editor-jana-frawleys-top-50-supermarket-food-products/story-fneuz8wn-1226605469742Sad that this lady thought it was good to buy packet mixes to bake, herb mixtures, bottled sauces, ice creams, yoghurts, ice blocks, cordials, relishes, lasange sheets, bread, bought grated cheese.. we make all these with our thermys, Just shows you how much we can make with these machines, and how much we can save $$$ Maybe I am crazy, but just shows you how much I make in my thermy things, and not bought in boxes, or jars.

:)Doughnut maker-Doughnut batter
Great as a treat
Preparation Time: 5 min
Cooking Time: 8 min
Serves: 10
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups plain flour ½ cup caster sugar 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder 125g butter, melted ¾ cup milk 1 egg, lightly beaten
Method:
1. Preheat Doughnut machine. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Make a well in the centre. Whisk in the butter, milk and egg until mixture forms a smooth batter. Transfer to a jug. 2. Spray machine with cooking oil. Pour batter into preheated doughnut rings. Close lid and cook for 6 minutes or until doughnut are golden and cooked. Use a non-stick spatula to transfer doughnut to a wire rack. Repeat with remaining batter to make 10 donuts in total.
This is from Sunbeam web site, as I have a Sunbeam mini donut machine.

Jamberie - I used this machine for the first (and not last) time today and used this recipe, however I just put all ingredients in the TMX and processed on speed 4 for 30 seconds. Next time I'll probably melt the butter in the TMX before adding the rest of the ingredients.
