What am I cooking today?  Something I hope other than dinner and bread to keep us going.

Last night I made the Worcestershire sauce from this forum; it hasn't had time to mature yet but it still tastes delicious.

Astarra, I like the idea of the egg and bacon pies. I need to make some things for the CFA men and women for their freezer.  This is inspirational.
Today ate out as we had to take Bruce and Mandy to Boat for their trip to NZ, then to eye specialist to check my wonky eye. Didn't have to have injection in eye today. Yahoo. So no cooking today.

I made some sticky date cookies this afternoon. They are delicious.

I didn't roll them in icing sugar.

This is a better photo and hopefully it won't be upside down.

Good news about your eye Chookie. The cookies sound interesting cookie as do your egg and bacon pies astarra. Love the Worcestershire sauce troupie, I think everyone I know has been given a bottle LOL.

I'm living out of the freezer again so no cooking going on here.

This huge lettuce is now a more manageable size after making lettuce and potato soup + the star of the show, a lettuce, banana, pineapple and evaporated coconut milk smoothie. Also made some of the 3 Blade Malaysian meat curry  powder to use in some of Skinnymixers recipes.

Well done Astarra. They look delicious. I'm sure they will be well received.

I made Chookie's Wholemeal Rolls. They are really tasty.

I've had 16 mo GS for the day and a sleep over tonight, so we are keeping it simple with salmon and zucchini noodles with pesto stirred through. GS is having Spag Bol from the freezer. He can have Strawberries & Yoghurt for dessert.
Hope to cook some things tomorrow.
