Dinner was great, I cooked 1.7kg of rolled boned pork, normally quite a bit left.

Veg, brussels, potatoes, peas & carrots.

Just over 240g left, no veg & no gravy left, infact I was told not enough potatoes, I did 6 & cut them in 1/2, o Ithought 12 would be fine ???

Have to be quick with the crackling, boys love it >:(

Anway 2 hungry boys & my dh certainly get through the food. :o :o :o

I went for a walk last night and tonight and found field mushrooms on our footy oval! I picked them and washed them, so we're having steak and mushrooms!!

I made the Hash Browns from the Robogourmet iPad App. Instructions were not clear, so I made a few mistakes. They were divine, so I'll put the recipe on the forum.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Made Jo's  Leftover Roast Meat Pie with lamb.Add a a few extras to the recipe ie Worcester sauce, chutney and a squirt of tomato paste. It tasted nice but the meat did shred even though I used :-: ^^ when cooking it in *:
