It is large troupie. We looked at going by train however we would have spent 3 hours on the train. A couple of hours in the car was better.

I made some fudge, some jam and some Bolognaise sauce today (long slow cooking on the stove top to keep in batches for quick microwaving). Then I did an online professional development session, and took my daughter to scouts. Then sat down to watch The Biggest Loser makeover episode!

Work today - I was in daystay, which is basically admitting people for their surgery.
I love it  - no ones sick (yet), you wish them well and they are on their way.
Would like this job until I retire for good. Very hard to get a position though.

I went to a school re union lunch. It was fun to catch up with the 7 or so that bothered to turn up.
Next year it will be 50 years since we all left school. Quite scary really.

Something not as much fun today. We had a funeral to attend. One of the lovely men from our car club.

Sorry for the loss of your friend Cookie.
I had a lovely time at the zoo. It always makes me feel good being around animals. The male and female lion were having a roaring competition, there were baby Meerkats, and the most adorable baby ring tailed Lemur jumping around.
GS is a freek when it comes to his knowledge of animals, he loves going to the zoo. He is only 5 but often talks about being a zoo keeper when he grows up.

A visit to the zoo would be very informative with your GS Katj.

We went for a spin down to Mandurah. We had fish and chips for lunch. It was lovely, but all I want to do now is sleep.

oh yum! I just feel like this now...

Must be the weather cookie, just lately I feel like I need matchsticks to keep my eyes open. I have been sleeping pretty good at night, but from about lunchtime the sleepiness starts to creep up. I tried to have a lie down but the stupid mobile and landline kept ringing so I just gave up.

The fish and chips looks yummy. I have been out patch working with friends and had a lovely day. I was asked to make a few Christmas quilts for our local hospital for the babies so will get on to that this week.
