Cookie, I was wondering about that.  WA always looks hot and dry and we look cold and wet, although we can get very hot in Summer.

Having spent the last two days in bed with this horrible cold, the sun is shining outside just now so I am going to venture out for a hour then back to bed for the rest of the day before getting back to work tomorrow.

Unfortunately we only get sun in our back yard in high summer, but I did enjoy a short walk outside during the afternoon so that helped.  I'm bored to tears and will be glad to get back to work tomrorrow.

Marina that’s horrid feeling so bad. Get back to 100% quickly.

We had a very wet and windy night last night. About 28 mm of rain. Today, despite the lousy weather we decided to drive down to Mandurah and have fish and chips for lunch. It was lovely to do that. We then found a Simmos icecream right near by so we went all out and had an icecream too. A diabetic break out today, but it’s not very often. So no harm done.

Thanks for our kind wishes, everyone.  Cities are always horrible once all that tarmac and concrete starts getting up and radiating heat.  You would be glad to get back home where, I imagine, it is a bit more comfortable.

CC, we have been watching the weather forecasts for London. It has been hot.
You can rest up at home now GS is home.
Was hoping to garden today but weather doesn’t look good.

Yesterday I cleaned out 2 big freezers, found so much food,  soups,sorbets, fritters  ect that I forgot about.

Like Obbie I finished cleaning out one freezer.  Like Obbie I found lots of stuff I had forgotten.
Big  cook up tomorrow.  Sweet lamb curry and steak and kidney.
Also managed 2 hours in veggie garden. It was very windy.  It is still windy but also raining.
I am pleased about the rain as I scraped up some compost litter from Chooks and put it on the garden.
