I’ve been wanting to make a plain old fashioned stew for some time now and tonight was that time.  I used a small amount of oyster blade steak for flavour but have removed it and will make up a pack for a friend who is visiting tomorrow which will include the meat.  I’ve tasted the gravy and it’s nice so I think this one is going to be a winner.

Cookie, cake still looks good upside down.
Judy, tasty looking stew.
Filling biscuit and cake tins today as we are having visitors Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We are setting up a BBQ area down by the dam. We have one of those round metal fire pits and an old large table. Will prepare a mix of different foods both vegetarian and meat. Have made a mixture of buns. Visitors on Tuesday are bringing sweets and salads. Will par cook the ribs and and falafel before hand.

I made some spinach & ricotta rolls in filo pastry yesterday, then did some more with a vegetable mix.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

A busy time ahead for you Chookie, I hope the weather is nice for your visitors.
I make those rolls for DD1 when she is over from Melbourne Margaret and I’ve also given some to my gardener - they both love them.

Ditto from me.

Nothing here today. I’ve been fighting an attack of sinusitis. It has been a beauty. Hopefully it will improve enough for us to go away fro a few days on Monday.

I made a Classic loaf and have rye SD in the fridge to cook tomorrow.  I also made a no cook slice. https://www.taste.com.au/recipes/cranberry-orange-no-cook-slice/pbam14l5

The slice is very nice. I made some Choc chip biscuits to take away.

The slice and today’s bread.

Glad that you are feeling better, Cookie.
Yesterday I made Alyce’s Falafel recipe.  They are very nice.
