Judy, the potato bake look really good, I like it when it has cooked a bit more than it should, love the crunchy bits. Have saved that link too.  ;D

With today's dinners already sorted, I've had time to make a couple of things. I've made the 'custard' to make 'Dirty Chai Gelato', (Skinnymixers) firstly making the chai mix.  It's now chilling in the fridge before I churn in my ice cream machine.  Will report once done.

The other is 'MacaChip Cookies', another Skinnymixers recipe which I'll give the link to as it's on her website.  I used wholemeal spelt flour as that is what I had and will use again.  I will reduce the coconut sugar a little next time but otherwise it worked like a charm and they are really nice, I got 22 cookies.

I must say I've been pleasantly surprised making a few of her recipes of late.  They are turning out really nice.  The earlier recipes I made I wasn't very fond of, but I think the later recipes/books have been really good.

We love the Skinnymixers but I use all fresh herbs and change it to suit us . Like the Greek prawns , no feta and use as a pasta sauce . Which is what we had for dinner tonight .

I've made a fruit loaf that has sour cherries, choc bits and walnuts in it. DD usually takes a slice in her lunch.

The fruit bread.  https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=17347.msg420208#msg420208

I also tried a new SD overnight loaf. The way things were going it looked like it was going to be a good door stop. I was amazed at the oven spring it got.

Lovely loaf Cookie.  Julie,  thanks for the link.
Yesterday I made a double lot of the Surprise biscuits.  I divided the mixture not 3 and made Choco chip, jam drop and coconut for Monte Carlos.  Gave half to DD to take away as they are having a short break.
Also made plain white bread, 2 sticks and 6 rolls. Nearly forgot, 20 SD crumpets.  All gone.
Today I will make a more interesting loaf of bread.

Made Farellinas New York Rye bread.   Lovely. I like it with Caraway Seeds. RAL likes it plain.

The biscuits and both breads look delicious.
Today I made gingernut suprise biscuits. They turned out well.
Also some scones from CWA recipe. Took them down to mum as she is having visitors this afternoon.

That’s a lovely bread Chookie. I have made a Classic loaf and have the rye starter growing to do an over night loaf. I also made some Cranberry Oat Biscuits.

Great baking ladies.  I picked up some cheap mushrooms and asparagus today so I made a batch of mushroom/spinach sauce plus Asparagus & Broccolini soup, a version of this soup recipe of Chookies https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4716.msg59367#msg59367

Well done Judy.  I bought 2 cauliflowers.  Last week they were $6, this week $2.50.  They make a beautiful creamy soup base. Will made another Rye loaf today and start an over night SD loaf. Might make some SD Hush Puppies.
