Interesting spotted roll cookie, like Marina I am very interested in how you did that.  The bread looks so good too.

Having visitors all day is exhausting Chookie, how lovely that Ral is such a hands on husband.

I saw a recipe for a swiss roll like that in SFI  yesterday.

 :)
It all looks good.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Nice cooking Cookie. :)

I agree Chookie, husbands who give a hand when needed are worth their weight in gold.  Mine would make me very rich :D :D
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

The spots are made of flour, sugar, egg white and butter, then coloured. You pipe the spots onto baking paper and freeze it. Then the baking paper is used as the lining for the Swiss roll in the tin. The cake mix is poured on top and cooked. You just have to be careful when you remove the baking paper.
I think it would look nice as the top of a cake you weren’t icing.
If anyone wants the amounts I can pm them to you.

Mab, if I had to vote for the best recipe on the Forum, it would be CPs Cream Puffs.
I have very fond memories of making many of these and the family sitting around experimenting with different fillings and icings.
Marina, you must share this recipe.

See this link for the recipe, Chookie  https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=17529.0

I'm attempting to make a type of fruit loaf, not looking good at the moment.  I have to make something to use up the rest of the cherries too.

In Ballarat we have an outstanding kitchen shop. Le Kitchen.  Even before we shifted to Ballarat  I bought a lot of kitchen ware from there.
Yesterday Ral bought some glasses for his coffee from there. While there the owner of the shop was talking to me about how popular the Le Creuset pots were.  I told her how I use mine to bake bread.
Result, the staff are coming for a SD lesson on the 10 of June.
This will be very interesting as the shop sell Kitchen Aide machines and I will be pushing Thermomix.

How exciting. I'm sure they will love it. I'm sure nothing can equal the thermomix for kneading.

This is the fruit loaf I was having problems with. It’s apparently Hungarian and is called an Almond and Cranberry Beigl. DD and DH tell me it is very nice.
