I attempted to make garlic prawn risotto tonight, but I used a different brand of rice, and it was still raw in the middle when it should hav  e been cooked.:(
I cooked it longer, and then a bit longer again, but it ended up a little gluggy and all the prawns got chopped up too much. It was edible, but only just.

Thats a shame Sue :(

Thanks Amy! I have a fave meat sauce I use for nachos didn't even think I could tweak the spice for lasagne, thanks for the ideas :D

No worries Kath, glad I could help :D

My lasagne was really yummy, but no photos because it bubbled over in the oven and looked really messy :-[

Roast lamb with roast potatoes and steamed green vegs.

Steak with vegetables steamed in the varoma - snow peas, cabbage, carrots and oyster mushrooms.  I was planning on putting Brussels in there as well but didn't want to get lynched....so they will be my treat for the weekend.

ES that is a nuisance. I'd be interested in hearing what brand of rice it was too please?

We had Red Rooster. That is about as good as it gets with DH and eating out. I don't mind as I am going out tomorrow for lunch and then again a couple of times next week too.

We are trying to empty our freezers in preparation for a move...so tonight was leftover chicken risotto with leftover curried mince....
We can nearly turn off our chest freezer :)
